The BrownMillerGroup Team
Top talent means top strategy.
Tyler works to analyze the strategic needs of our clients, then to design and execute voter contact programs to accomplish the client’s goals one person at a time, from electoral campaigns, to issue organizing, to grassroots marketing.
In 2015 Tyler served as Field Director for BrownMiller’s Bucks County, Pennsylvania field program. With a staff of 8 field organizers Tyler built a traditional field program focused on engaging existing county party activists and recruiting new volunteers to execute an activation and turnout program targeting even-year Democrats to build turnout in this off-year election.
Before coming to BrownMiller, Tyler ran the Field Program in AZ-01 in 2012 and 2014 in support of Ann Kirkpatrick. A massive district equal in size to the State of Pennsylvania, no Democrat had ever held onto the seat for more than one term. In addition to training and managing traditional volunteer Field Organizers in a half dozen offices spread throughout the district, Tyler worked to modify campaign organizing tactics and techniques to work effectively for a parallel Tribal Field team that drove turnout amongst the Native American population of the district, the largest of its kind in any Congressional district in the United States. Tyler also built out a mobile paid canvass operation, that hit the road over the last 6 weeks of the campaign and knocked doors in every small town throughout the district where the campaigns volunteer organizing staff did not have a presence.
In 2013 Tyler worked as a Field Consultant on a variety of races around the country, including multiple Legislative Districts in New Jersey, the Westchester County Executive race in New York and City Council races in Phoenix, AZ and Sunnyvale, CA. Currently, Tyler is working with our Bucks partners to turn the rest of Pennsylvania blue. And he’s scaling this program to replicate it in swing districts around the country.
