Peter Brown is a leading political and communications and strategist with more than a decade of experience managing high-profile political and marketing campaigns in the U.S. and abroad.
As principal at his NYC-based consultancy, Peter provides…
Chris Miller is a founding partner of the BrownMiller Group, developing direct contact strategies to win campaigns one voter at a time. In 2013 Chris and BrownMiller ran the petition drive that placed Eliot Spitzer on the ballot with over 27,000 signatures in just four days. Chris managed Congressman McMahon’s successful 2008 Staten Island race, and New York campaigns including city council, issue advocacy, and statewide field programs. He came to New York from the 2008 Obama Presidential Primary campaign where he served as Midwest Field Director and as State Director for the Minnesota, Kansas, and North Dakota Caucuses. He’s managed labor and issue campaigns around the country for AFSCME International and ACORN ranging from minimum wage, to public education, to voter’s rights, to Project Vote, which registered 1.4 million voters nationally in 2004. As National Field Director for 21st Century Democrats, he built what was the largest campaign training program in the country, training campaign and organizational staff for races nationally.
Matt joined BrownMiller in the summer of 2013 organizing petitioners for Eliot Spitzer's historic comptroller election. Since joining the team, he has targeted and run several mail and field programs for BrownMiller clients.
A true believer in the BrownMiller Circle of Engagement, Matt specializes in integrating paid communications and in-person voter contact for all his clients. In 2014, Matt was imbedded as Campaign Manager for Vic Meyers' Congressional run in Colorado's rural 4th District. There he worked closely with the Coordinated Campaign to mobilize voters in a district larger than New York State.
Tyler has deployed successful targeted direct voter contact programs across the country tailored to local conditions on the ground from Silicon Vally to Monument Valley, Arizona to the Delaware River Valley in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Tyler has designed outreach to diverse communities including the Navajo Nation, where modern community organizing techniques were modified to fit the community's traditions, culture, low population density and vast geography.
Tyler is most proud of the work he has done training and empowering both junior campaign staff as well as local candidates, committee people, activists and volunteers to effectively communicate their agendas to others in their community to affect positive change.
